Inaugural Symposium on U.S. NIH-Korea Collaborative Biomedical Research
The Inaugural Symposium between scientists at the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Korean Institutes will be held.

The Symposium is aimed to enhance NIH-Korea collaborations and cooperation in conducting biomedical research on major disease topics.
Annual Symposia in the U.S.A. and Korea are planned in alternating years.
The participating Korean Institutes are:
- the Korea National Institute of Health (KNIH)
- the National Cancer Center Korea (KNCC)
- the Korea Health Industry Development Institute (KHIDI)
In 2015, the Symposium will highlight metabolic syndromes (obesity/ diabetes), neuroscience/ neurodegenerative diseases, big data science, stem cell biology, immunology/infectious diseases, and cancer drug discovery/treatment.
The poster presentations on the first day will also foster interactions between scientists for mutual benefits. Please visit the online registration site to submit abstracts by April 3rd.
